Hi, beeze- there are 3 rounds in the playoffs- 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 5 and 4 vs. 6, which make-up the preliminary round, followed by a semi-final played by the winners in each bracket, followed by the finals played by the winners of the semi-final bracket. Each round of the playoffs is made up of 1 matchplay round on the course.
I hope that clarifies it- sorry for using the word "round" with 2 different meanings! My bad!
G.

StephColbert wins 1UP against wayknow.
It took 22 holes and was a great match after my horrendous 1st two holes. Great battle, way, I appreciate your play.

matchplay pro neil v firestricker neil wins 5 & 4 forget the stroke scores fire started hot and had me sweating, gg thx I confirm Neil's win. I was envisioning sugar plums early when I was ahead after 3, tied at 4 but then Neil kept tightening the noose around my neck a little by little. At the end when the end result was all that matters. Neil prevailed. Stroke play was Neil 56, Fire 62. Good luck the rest of the way.

Hey,
Just got back from Bermuda yesterday and noticed that the deadline was extended so I guess I can play.
Riggysmiths, I can hopefully play anytime after 3 PM tonight, tomorrow or Wednesday. It may be a little tricky as I will have things going on but I'll do my best to fit your schedule. Let me know what times work for you and I'll see what I can do.

Legin vs Sammysnead
Fairly easy game for SS. SS played a great couple of shots to be on the Par 4 greens in one. Tried to match SS for distance but ended up in the rough on a couple of occasions. Before I knew it I was down 3 at the turn. SS applied more pressure on 10 and 12. By the 14th it was all over with a 5 & 4 win for SS. Just as well as then found the bunker and water on the next hole!!
Great game SS, only missed 1 putt on the greens one very difficult slope.
SS wins 5 & 4.

I confirm. It was a good match, I was just hitting my drives straight on those shorter par 4's, that helped a lot!! Look forward to more matches Legin, cheers!!!
