You didn't think this was going to be easy, did you? After all, there could have been gale force winds.

AM Finals
DavidDuval def. StephColbert 5 & 4.
Great game Steph, and great season. I had AHO on 5 and 12, and got really lucky guessing a few putts. Those are brutal conditions.

jeffro v neil pro matchplay final
jeffro wins 2 & 1
great game from start to finish in some nasty conditions. J. started with birdie to take an early lead. was even by the 3rd then i managed to get 1 up, still 1 up at the turn. this is where J. stepped up while i posted too many pars. J. now 2 up going down 14, bogeys and its back to 1 up for J. on 16 the long par 5 J. lands on the green but has a massive putt left. as my approach lands i see his putt coming up short. im left with about an 10 ft minor break putt to level match, recall it was 50% power an easy mark to hit, putt lips and J. remains 1 up. on 17 J. hits rough off the tee and has an awfull looking banked lie while im in prime spot centre fairway. i come up short however and J. nails his approach and fully earns the win with a birdie.
a great nerve gangling encounter. congrats to the godfather himself on a fine victory.
hope iv told it right. if not jeffro seems to have a rainman like memory and will correct if needed.

I confirm these scores. Neil your account of what happened was spot on.
This was a total nail-biter until the 2nd shot on 17. The match could have just as easily been Neil's.
Neil had the psychological edge going into the match as he just defeated OutFoxMii last night for my 5th loss with my new persona. That one was a one stroke nail biter that was decided on the 16th hole.
I would like to thank the academy.........
Seriously I owe any success I have had to all the great folks here in the WiiGA. You are all gentlemen and show true sportsmanship at all times. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this great community.
On to season 4!!!!
Jeffro
