SCORECARDS Scorecards will be added as soon as possible.
The scorecards will have space for 4 rounds. Two of the rounds will be marked AM and two will be marked PRO. Be sure to score your rounds in accordance to how they were played: with AM settings or with PRO.
ROUNDS Both AM and PRO tourneys require 2 rounds each.
Note that because the difference between AM and PRO are the offline settings (plus re-setting Advanced Swing on the 1st tee for PRO), a round can include players with either setting.
Although the tourneys are listed in numerical order, all have the same due date: October 11. You can do each tournament whenever you like, in any order you like as long as you meet the cutoff of October 11. Be sure to post which tournament you want to play when posting for a tee time.
Remember that you can play either AM or PRO or both!
The Fine Print: How the Settings Were Selected For those who may be wondering, all course selections and settings were done by creating lists of the courses and possible settings, and using random.org's random number generator to select the settings. The choices for stock profile were selected the same way: lists of top golfers and of lousy golfers were drawn up, and the random number generator was used to select a golfer from each list.
If you have any questions, let me know!

Yes. TW09 and TW10 online sites don't talk to one another, and the settings and courses for TW10 are different. Bethpage Black and Banff, for instance, aren't on TW09.

What is this "suit" that was mentioned by psgby? Also if I'm not mistaken packattack had a sweet get up when I watched him on a video. Is that in the TW10 pro shop?
<<My profile is not 110% yet so wondering if I can use a suit until it's maxed.>>

You can buy outfits in the online store that confer full bonuses to the profile wearing the outfit.

It's the one that's accessed through the game itself. When you go into your career, and you select the pro shop option that let's you buy stuff, at the bottom of the screen is a link to the EA online store for TW10. G.

So TW09 doesn't have a tournament? I guess we aren't worthy or are just 2nd class citizens, huh? LOL. Crap, this sounded like fun.
Any 09'ers out there creating a tourney?

Well, we don't have any regular 09 tourneys. However, the member Laboratory enables you to launch your own defined tourney. There's no reason you couldn't create any kind of tourney for 09 you'd like- match play, 4 round professional style, a series parallel to the 10 tourneys with 09 courses- literally anything you like. I'm sure you could find some of our members who would like to play. We encourage all of our members to simply have fun, and one way they do it is by setting up their own tourneys. This might be the best way for you to have the tourneys you'd like! G.

What is the rule for using "chip tracers" on the Pro setting?

We had a poll on this last season that I think clarifies the matter: - While on the green: Chip tracing is not allowed UNLESS there is fairway, rough or sand prohibiting a line from your ball to the cup. There are certain greens such as one on St. Andrews that are configured so that your ball, though on the green, cannot be putted. Under those circumstances and only under those circumstances can the chip tracer be used.
- While off the green, chipping or pitching, chip tracing is fairly well controlled by the limits of the 30 second clock. So chip tracing is not prohibited while off the green.

That being the case, I would like to request/suggest a "real golf" tournament, where chip tracers/practice swings/putt previews are not allowed.

Sent you a PM on EA about this. I think it's a great idea, and would like to see it developed here in the Lab as a repeat event. PM me, and let's discuss.
