OFFICIAL Wayknow wins 1 up over Neil aggregate scores Wayknow 53 Neil 55 Jokker 50 ( practice?) Great match Neil! We had a little D-conn problem after 8 holes, match all squared.Reset and continued on ( all squared again after the bonus first 8 holes).I managed a 1 up lead after 10. desparately held on to it for 4 more holes.Neil ties it up again on 15.Number 16 is the drivable par 4 over the trees and house.I had played a few practice rounds offline and especially this drive; I thought it might be a game-breaker.I managed to put my drive on the green and had a longish right to left putt; a putt I have had in practice rounds."please God..please God.." I manage to just barely roll it in.."thank you..thank you..thank you".Ok..1 up with 2 to play.Next hole a par 3, Neil calmly sinks a birdie putt and I leave mine short! All squared going into 18.I notice Neil and I both lay back a little on our drives to get good yardages into the green.I play mine a little long knowing the hill will bring it back a touch.I believe Neil's shot was a touch short under the hole.I am already planning on re-visiting the front 9 for extra holes. Some how, some way Neil's putt lips out.I hit the crap out of my putt ( I was not gonna be short) and ended up with a 1 up win.Awesome match Neil..cheers to you, I got lucky.I honestly felt that we were gonna play many, many extra holes until I screwed up..which eventually I probably would have. Oh Yeah..to bring this all into perspective, Jokker tagged along and shot a 50 to my 53 and Neil's 55.Reality bites!!

Round 2
TheBeezer 2-up versus TrojanMan (Stroke score 54-56)
I'm still not quite sure how this happened. I played out of my head and managed to not choke it away down the stretch.
I drew first blood with an eagle on 2 to a birdie for TM. We played even the rest of the way on the front 9 with pars on 4 and birdies on the rest and I took the turn 1-up.
TrojanMan hit a great shot on 10 for the birdie while I was lucky to hit a chip for par after blowing a long putt off the green. I birdied 12 and TM showed a par, but I'm not sure what happened there as I thought he had birdied too (hope it wasn't a glitch). On the par-5 15th I managed to slice my drive behind a tree and somehow managed to get it close to the green for an eagle chip, but missed. TM eagled and we were all square with 3 to go.
After birdies on 16, 17 proved to be pivotal. I managed to get the distance right and get it within 6 feet while TM had come up short. I almost dropped the remote trying not to screw up and managed to sink the birdie to go dormie. I got another hole as I think TM was trying to eagle from the fairway and ended up with a par while I manage 1 more birdie.
Great match TrojanMan - I'm grateful to have played well against an elite player.

Well, the upsets continue to roll in during the play-off, great match Beezer, well played. Troj is diffinately a force to recon with and surely has game. Quite a feat to win that match Beezer, congrats.
As for the battle of the TITANS between neil & Way, I had the privaledge of tagging along to watch this epic battle, and that it was, very exciting match, back and forth the whole way. I suppose I should have checked before the match because I thought it was in the AM flights so please ignore my score since I was not set to PRO settings, sorry guys.
Anyway, this was an incredible match to witness. The scores and previous summary of this match don't even come close to illustrating how well they both played. I would see neil get 1up only to watch Way get that hole back, all square after 8 when the connection was lost. Then after the restart, the first 8 holes went back and forth again to be all square after 8 again with the exact same score, so on to the 9th and all square at the turn. Then to my surprise neil clips a tree and ends up in the lake to allow Way to go 1up. They trade birds for the next 4 holes and then neil takes the 15th hole to go all square again with 3 holes to go. Both neil & Way were getting very aggresive in they're play at this point so Way fires over the forest and makes an incredible approach shot on the green on the 16th hole. That is without a doubt, the toughest par 4 green to hit on any course. I believe neil also hit that green but had an incredibly long putt that did not drop, Way drops a great putt for Eagle and goes 1up again with only 2 holes left to play. Then sure enough neil makes a great tee shot to the 17th par 3 and putts in a bird while Way settles for par. All square going to the last hole, this game was so intense it had my hands shakin for both of them. I went into this game with no thoughts to favor either of them since I respect both of they're abilities so much. Down to the last hole, par 4, Way lands on the green in 2 and putts for bird, neil lands to the left of the pin and just a touch long, right near or on the fringe of the green. It looks to me like they are going into overtime with about a 20 foot putt for neil. neil draws back for his putt and for some reason he gets less power than he was after and the putt stops just short of the hole and he settles for par.
Very fun match to watch with 2 of our greatest players going head to head for the next position in the Pro bracket. I give my well deserved congrats to Way for a very well played match but as far as I'm concerned, neil is also a great champion and I want to congadulate him for a match played so well. Good luck in the next round Way.
I confirm the scores
Wayknow wins 1 up over Neil
aggregate scores
Wayknow 53 Neil 55 Jokker 50 ( cheated )

Skinnie was suppose to give you the run down so I will give the Coles version. Putterrr (59) 2 & 1 over SkinniePost (60) In the exact opposite our Am round in which SP was victorious, I pulled out to the big front 9 lead. Skinnie made a big charge on 12-13-14 but unlike Tony from the Big Break, I was able to hold on for the win. Maybe we will play a normal back and forth match some day. Oh boy, theJokker (theWiiDevil) is up next! Putterrr

Let's see what I can pull out of my memory ... Ya'll know the results already, but here is the story of Putterrr's Glorious Revenge ;D The first attempt is aborted before we even get to the first tee... I forgot to kill my AHO's... Oops, problem solved and we are off Good Luck messages are exchanged and we are off... I flip to advanced swing and line up at the first tee... There is a stiff left to right wind (20 mph) and trees on the right side of the tee, so a nice fade is required to hit the fairway... Putterrr executes it perfectly and rolls up the right side of the fairway, I on the other hand throw down a max fade and land behind a tree on the right side of the fairway, oh no ... I pitch back out to the fairway and see Putterrr's ball sitting on the green 6-8 feet from the pin... I get up and down for par, while Putterrr sinks his birdie putt to go up 1 after 1... The 2nd (Par 3)... Putterrr shoots over front pin and leaves himself a mid sized putt, which he drops... Meanwhile I miss the green short, and set up to pitch... I don't really want to go down two, but I miss my pitch by an inch to the left... We both take par, and move on... Putterrr up 1 after 2 We get back in our carts and move on to the 3rd (Par 5)... We both hit the fairway, then make the green in two… but we both have super long putts for eagle… Kaboom for Putterrr, and I missed to the high side by an inch or so… Putterrr up 2 after 3 Next is the Fish Bowl called Devil’s Caldron… Both of us drop (and I mean drop, darn ball needed a parachute) our shots within feet… Putterrr sinks his putt, and a leave mine low (tried to correct from last hole)… Putterrr up 3 after 4, and it is lookin’ like a blowout… At the 5th (Par 4 - Doglog left)… We both are going for the green in two… Putterrr makes it, and I don’t… I made my shot much tougher, since I missed the fairway… Putterrr calmly sinks another birdie putt to go up 4 after 5… I’m in big trouble now… On to the 6th (Par 4 - Short one, but not quite drivable)… I crush the ball hoping to leave myself a short pitch, while Putterrr plays back… Putterrr hits the green, while I take my time to line up the pitch… I miss by an inch, darn I needed that one to stop the bleeding… We both make our putts and take birdie… Putterrr up 4 after 6… We push our way through a 23 headwind to the 7th teebox… With the high wind, there is no way to make the green in two for eagle… We both play the hole straight and make our birdie putts… Putterrr up 4 after 7… At the 8th (Par 3 over water, with no where to roll up onto green)… I try to put it right next to the back pin location and roll into the fringe… Putterrr plays the hole the other way and comes up short and leaves himself a long putt… We both miss and take pars… Putterrr up 4 after 8… On to the 9th (Par 5) and I better get it going soon… This is another tee shot that requires you to fade the ball around tree to hit the fairway… Putterrr hits his perfectly again in the fairway, and I slice it into the trees again, argh… I pitch back out onto fairway and hope to just tie the hole… But Putterrr has other ideas and throws a dart at the green to within 6 feet, guy is on fire today… He drops the eagle putt and I settle for a birdie… Putterrr up 5 after 9… I grab a stiff drink at the turn, and buy Putterrr one to congrats him for great front nine (and hopefully shake him up for the back nine )… The 10th (Par 3) plays tough with the wind direction this evening… Putterrr barely misses green, and gets up and down for par… I hit the green, but leave myself a 15 footer for bird and missed it, another opportunity slips away… Putterrr still up by 5 after 10 The 11th is uneventful… We both get up and down for birdie… Putterrr by 5 after 11… I start to slap myself before the 12th and shotgun my beer… I crush my drive and just barely miss my pitch for eagle, while Putterrr makes green in two, but misses his putt for birdie… I finally take a hole… Putterrr up 4 after 12 The 13th is the last Par 3… Putterrr misses the green, and I hear the heartbeat, nice… I get birdie, while Putterrr pitches on and misses his putt for bogey… Putterrr up 3 after 13… At the 14th (Par 4)… We both hit the fairway and I line up my shot for the full 30 seconds… I watch Putterrr hit the green in two, but leave himself a long putt… I swing, and boom heartbeat again… I make my short putt for bird while Putterrr takes a par… Putterrr up 2 after 14… On to the 15th (Par 4 with elevated tee)… We both smack our drives, and Putterrr makes green but leaves a long putt and two putts for par… I drop mine within 10 feet and… Miss another putt, opportunity lost… Putterrr up 2 after 15… The “Goat” is next… We both nicely hook our drives around the trees and pitch on… Then make our birdie putts… Putterrr up 2 after 16… Time is running out… The 17th is next, which can be a drivable Par 4 if the wind is helpful… I smack the cover off the ball, since this is my last chance, and end up 1 foot short of green, while Putterrr stays back to leave himself a nice pitch to the green… I line up my pitch as tight as I can, and swing away… My ball is slowly rolling directly at the pin… Goin, goin, and stops 1 inch short, argh… We both putt in for birdie… and the match is over Putterrr wins 2 and 1… We play on thru the 18th since neither of us would ever consider quitting before a round is complete… I drive thru the trees and make green in two, but miss my putt for eagle, and Putterrr matches me… The leave us with a final round score of: SkinniePost 60 (32,28) Putterrr 59 (27,32) Putterrr takes the round 2 and 1… To move on to the next round, and get his revenge on me for our Am round results… Nice match Putterrr you came to play… I gave it my best shot to catch you, but you deserved it… And I’m always happy to lose to such a nice guy… Take care my friend and good luck in the next round… Later, The Postman Note: I find out later in the evening, from my good friend Dadgotgame, that he and Putterrr played a practice round earlier in the day, and Putterrr shot a 55… If I had known that maybe I would have forfeited, yeah right… Always up for a challenge

Jeffro wins 6 and 5 over Dude.
Unfortunately Dude was slightly rustier than I was....or fortunately for me.
To illustrate what I mean by that. I got off to a great start. Dude needed just a little lube in the shoulder. I was fortunate enough to go up 7 after 7 holes. Had we started on the 8th hole the game would have been all Dude. Dude clearly outplayed me on the last 11 holes.
I would rather be lucky than good any day.
Dude is always a great sport and a good friend. Thanks for the game my friend.
Looks like I will have my hands full in the next match against the always tough Wayknow.
See you all on the course in the very near future. It was great just getting to play again.
Just remember......If you ever see someone in chat say.....WTF?......It is not the question you thought it was....It isn't "what the f***" ....they asking "Who Tiger F*****" ;D.

You played a solid game all the way Jeffro. Rust or not my friend you are a force to be reckoned with. Wish I could have given you a better run, but I have no doubt the result would be the same and deservedly so.
Good luck with the rest of the tourney and take it to them Jeffro.

sorry for not confirming earlier Wayknow. thankfully jokker did a fine job for me. it was a epic battle and wish u all the best in latter rounds. if you play that well u have every chance. i can have no complaint as to the result as i played as well as i would have hoped only making 3 errors all round. you just played better simple as that. and your eagle on 16 was well worth the victory.
thx neil

OFFICIAL Jeffro defeats Wayknow 4 and 3 Wow, what can I say.A great match with Jeffro at Wentworth. We started off the first 5 holes shot for shot.On 6 the short par 4 I landed a little short but managed to chip in for an eagle.Sweet!!! I'm 1 up.That lasted about 2 holes. All square at the turn and then the real Jeffro shows up.Over the course of the next 5 holes he proceeds to go 4 up, including an ace along the way!I was leaking a little oil during those holes, making some poor shots, but it wouldn't have mattered in the end I believe.Jeffro had his eye on the prize, the finals, and he was not going to be denied! Outstanding fun Jeffro..congrats!Who ever you play in the finals better bring their "A" game.

I confirm the results.
Wayknow had me against the ropes after that nice pitch in eagle. I had a couple squandered opportunities on 7 and 8 to even the match. Fortunately we were even by the turn. I have never felt so little confidence I could win while even with 9 to play than I did in this tight match.
When Way missed what looked like a go ahead par on the 10th to remain all square, I took my first lead. First time all match I could smell blood in the water. The normally solid Wayknow hit a brief rough patch where nothing went his way and I had a short stretch where it was all clicking.
I feel very fortunate to be advancing against such a skilled player.
Thanks again kind sir. My hands are still shaking from that front nine of cat and mouse where I had to play the mouse for 9 holes.
One more round and we are off to Season 5!!!
Good luck to all those with matches still in front of them.....even my opponent in the finals ;D.

Well no surprise with this one. Jokker defeats putterr 4 and 3 (i think) Jokker was on fire the first few holes and I could not find the fairway, Cart paths, OB, Trees yes but fairway ... not so much. He was up 6 after 6 and cruised to an easy victory. I wish him luck the rest of the way. Always a pleasure my friend.

I confirm the match with putterrr, it is always a fun match with us. Most of which don't start out with an AHO, sorry about that man, kinda throws the match off-balance right at the start. I did pull off a fairly good front 9 but our match was very fun on the back 9 for us both. You took some holes from me and are surely one of the champions in our league, I look forward to many more matches with us. Well no surprise with this one. OFFICIAL TheJokker 4 and 3 versus TheBeezer Brutal conditions and I was very pleased to take 4 holes off of a legend. Let's break it down... Hole 1: Trying to stay loose and failing, I managed to hit it straight enough to leave a decent second shot. Put it 20ft from the hole and managed to drop the putt. Jokker birdied too so all square. Hole 2: I really hate this par 3 and couldn't get the distance right with the wind. Jokker put it right in the middle and made a great medium-length putt while I missed my chip. Jokker up 1. Hole 3: I hit a great approach and easily made my birdie. Jokker had a long tough putt from below the hole and just missed it left (IIRC). All square after 3. Hole 4: I think I hate all the even number holes on this course. Cross wind so I tried to play it safe with a 3 wood...and hit it in the freaking creak! Jokker made a smart play for the birdie while I scrambled to make a worthless par for pride. Jokker back up 1. Hole 5: Jokker made a straightaway birdie on the par 3 while I put it over the hole. Not only did I miss the tying putt badly, I missed the next 3 for good measure. Jokker up 2. Hole 6: No D4 this round as the wind was uncooperative. I put it in great position and nearly holed the approach. IIRC, Jokker had a chip off the green and ended up with a par. Jokker still up 1. Hole 7: Jokker hit a smart shot to the fairway while I was overaggressive and tried to get as close as possible. While Jokker was getting up and down, I missed the green and couldn't hole the pitch. Jokker up 2. Hole 8: We both made it solidly on the green. Jokker's putt was dead-center while I ran mine way past the hole and ended up with a bogey. Jokker up 3. Hole 9: Fairly straightforward hole and both of us birdied to take the turn with Jokker up 3. Jokker's 28 is better than I've ever shot so I'm not feeling too bad at this point. Hole 10: Jokker's tee shot on the par 3 was through the green while my shot got a fortunate tree brush to slow it 10 ft from the hole. I made the birdie while Jokker was getting up and down for par. Down 2 - definitely feeling like anything could happen with 3 par 5s to go. Hole 11: A good tee shot for me didn't translate into a good approach. I badly missed my birdie try while Jokker coolly put another nail in the coffin. Back down 3. Hole 12: I hit a great drive on the par 5 and had perfect yardage into the hole for the wind. I rolled it within 10 feet and had a nice easy putt for eagle to put some pressure on. Just as I was lining up, Jokker's second shot bounced, rolled towards the cup, and fell in for a 2. He hit a great shot, no question, yet it was a soul-pounder nonetheless. Down 4. Hole 13: Disaster strikes me as I hooked it badly into the woods. I managed to still make a par that didn't do me much good with Jokker's birdie. Down 5 and we're dormie. Hole 14: Always tough to get it close on this par 3, and no exception here. My par managed to take the hole as Jokker carded a bogey. Frankly, I saw it, wrote it down, and I'm still not sure this happened. Maybe I imagined it? Anyway, still dormie but I got it down to 4. Hole 15: I missed on my hole-out attempt and we tied to end it 4 and 3. We played the last 3 holes and split the par 5s and halved 16. I finished with an eagle to card a 67 while Jokker's 57 is better than I've ever shot here. Great job Jokker and I was happy to stay competitive with one of the greats. Second season in a row my playoffs ended at Wentworth so I'll have to ask EA to delete this course from TW11. Good luck to Jeffro and Jokker in the finals - seeing these two in the insane Pebble conditions will be amazing!

Beezer described our match very well, it was like re-playng the match in my mind as you found the drama and excitement for each hole.
Very nice write up man, your played several very nice holes and we will surely meet in future play-off matches. Your game is very solid now and the pieces will fall right in place, your scores will low 50's in Pro very soon. You are one of the Champions of the WiiGA, Semi-Finals in the Pro Bracket is not an easy task.
I confirm the posted scores TheJokker

Official Pro Finals-TheJokker VS Jeffro
I know the rules about posting the results and then the pleasantries. But this was such an amazing match for so many reasons I feel like I need to tell the story so you know just how close it was.
I had not lost a Pro match except the finals in season II....and that was against...you guessed it.....TheJokker!
I must admit that I would have been surprised if Jokker had not ended up my opponent in the finals in season IV. I must also admit I had only limited confidence going into this match. What helped improve my confidence is getting the new Black Knight (black wiimote).
So off to the first tee at Pebble Beach. Advanced settings, Black tees, Expert Pins, Fast greens and fairways, long rough and gale force winds.
Hole 1- We both had good drives, but the pin position was extreme. I failed to stay on the green after my approach and had to settle for par. Much to my surprise, Jokker had similar difficulties and finished with a bogey. 1up after one.
Hole 2- We hit decent drives. My approach slide through the green and I missed the pitch coming back and settled for birdie. Jokker played the par 5 to perfection and made the easy eagle. All square after two.
Hole 3- This hole is a serious challenge under normal conditions. In this case the dogleg left over the trees had a left to right wind approximately 20 mph. I ran it over the green on my approach for the second straight hole. Once again I missed the pitch coming back and tapped in for par. I am not sure what happened to Jokker, but he had to tap in for a second and very rare bogey. I am really not sure if TheJokker will post before me, but I have hopes that he will describe the match from his view to fill in the blanks. Back to 1 up after three.
Hole 4- This is a D4 even from the black tees when the wind is right. I hit my drive to the far right of the green and on the fringe. I make my chip for an eagle. I think Jokker was in the left greenside bunker. He gets up and down for the birdie. 2 up after four. Too early in the match to think I can just coast along especially against such a great player.
Hole 5- This par 3 is usually very tame. Not the case with gale force winds. I make another mistake and drive through the green. Once again I fail to make the pitch and settle for a par. TheJokker hits a nice tee shot and is left with a relatively easy birdie which of course he converts. The lead drops back to just one.
Hole 6- This is usually an easy par 5 as long as you stay in the short grass off the tee. Why would I want it to be easy? I pull the tee shot and a left with an 80% lie and 238 yards to an elevated green. I did not want to be short so I went with a 3 wood....and AGAIN I run it through the green and slightly over the hill. Once again I failed to make the pitch and settle for birdie. Jokker plays it smart and stays in the short grass which resulted in an easy approach and a fairly short putt....which he drops to square the match once again.
Hole 7- This is a very short par 3 with the green 32 feet below the tee box. You must not get too agressive or you will get a second try from the tee. I hit a decent tee shot and am left with a 4 footer for birdie. I do not remember where Jokker hit the tee shot, but he got up and down for a par. Back to 1 up thru seven holes.
Hole 8- This is an interesting par 4. You know you should play safe and lay up. But there are times when you can get close enough for a pitch shot, but it is risky. We both played it safe. It paid off as we both made the green in two and we both had what appeared to be easy putts. I didn't allow enough for the break and I failed to follow my own rules for a downhill breaking putt. I was too tentative and missed on the low side and settled for a par. TheJokker nails his birdie putt to square the match once again.
Hole 9- This hole runs along the pacific ocean. We both played smart shots and matched birdies to finish off a dismal 30 each on the front side and the match remained all square.
Hole 10- This is another tricky hole that runs along the pacific ocean. I hit my drive in the fairway, and left myself plenty of room on my approach. If you are not careful you go for a swim. I think I left my shot on the fringe and chipped in for birdie. I believe Jokker got a bad hop and went for the swim I was lucky enough to avoid. He turns around and drains the second attempt for a par. This brings me back up by one in this see-saw battle that no one is able to run away with.
Hole 11- This hole was uneventful and we both made birdie. Still clinging to a one stroke lead.
Hole 12- This is a devilish par 3 downhill with a big trap guarding the green. I went long and settled for par. I am not sure if Jokker pitched in or made a long putt, but he squared the match with a great birdie.
Hole 13- I cannot recall this hole but I know I made par on this par 4, and TheJokker makes birdie to take his first lead of the match. 1dn thru 13.
Hole 14- This is a long, tough dogleg right, par 5. We both struggled throughout the hole. I am finally in for a par. I was sure the match was about to start slipping away, when I see Jokker tap in for a par as well. I feel like it was a gift to remain just 1 down.
Hole 15- I know I am running out of holes to make something happen. I hit a decent drive, and then BOOM...I pitched in for eagle. Jokker plays the hole well, but his pitch dribbles by the hole and he settles for birdie. The match is all square with just 3 holes to play.
Hole 16- We both play solid and end up with birdie-birdie to stay at all square.
Hole 17- This is a par 3 that I would definitely consider one of the toughest to birdie. With the gale force winds I am convinced that a shot any where on the green will be enough to take the lead. I am too agressive and as many times through the match I run it through the green and end up in the trap on the far side of the green. I am not sure if Jokker held the green or was left with a pitch. I got up and down for par. Wouldn't you know it...Jokker drops his shot for birdie to take a 1 hole lead to the 18th tee. I am feeling a little defeated, but not ready to give up.
Hole 18- I hit a solid drive as it appears TheJokker does as well. I take my time figuring the wind and all the variables...I know the whole seasons comes down to executing on this one shot. I nailed it and am left with an easy eagle putt. I make the putt and now all I can do is wait. I am not sure what happened...but Jokker taps in for a par.....and we finish the first 18 in regulation ALL SQUARE!!!! Scores after 18 were Jeffro 59 and TheJokker 60.
As many of you know, I have a new puupy. I had asked my wife to keep the little rascal entertained while I try to play this all important match. As I was finishing the last hole I heard a lot of commotion outside. The dog had been terrorizing my wife and had just played tug o war with her pants. The dog won and the pants were torn. Somehow this was all my fault. I also promised just 18 holes and now we have a dilemma. I need to ask for an extension...she is mad..the dog is in trouble.....and the season hangs in the balance. I had to ask TheJokker to be patient while I try to smooth things over. Meanwhile Jokker verifies the tie breaker rules which state that we need to play 9 more holes and keep repeating that until we have a winner.
Finally I get the all clear signal from the tower and we are ready to continue the epic battle.
Hole 1/19- I head to the first tee praying that the new Black Wiimote will start working like it did the first time I used it just a day earlier. We both tee off. I was short of the green by 24 yards. I took a nice easy swing and BOOM....the shot drops for eagle. Jokker pitches in for birdie and I am off to a 1up start.
Hole 2/20- We both eagle and head to the 3rd while I maintain the 1up lead.
Hole 3/21- I clipped the trees on my drive and had to hit from the rough. I remebered running the shot through the green the first time around. Not this time...the appraoch finished in easy birdie range. Jokker pars the hole and I take a 2up lead to the 4th hole.
Hole 4/22- I decided to go with a 3 wood as we had a 320 mph tail wind. I made the green in one, while I watched Jokkers tee shot bounding over the green and it appeared to be OB. I make the short putt for eagle. TheJokker laid up on the second attempt and settled for a bogey. I now have a 3 up lead. I know I must play as if though I am behind or that lead will disappear just as it has so many times playing against such a solid player.
Hole 5/23- Since I overshot the green the first time we played this par 3 I decided to play less agreesive. This was a mistake. I stopped short of the green and had to settle for par. As expected...I left the door open and here comes TheJokker. He makes birdie and my big lead drops to 2up just that quick.
Hole 6/24- This time I birdie the hole and much to my surprise Jokker takes a par. The lead is back to 3 with 3 to play. I know I just need to hold him one more hole to take the match.
Hole 7/25- Back to the short par 3. I know I must keep from going long or things could change in a hurry. I stick my tee shot and am assured of a birdie. TheJokkers ball was a flyer.....I watched in disbelief as the tracer bounded over the hill and into the rocky ocean grave below.....The match is mine! I finally beat TheJokker in a final. I can't believe it as I was sure the match was his when we left the 17th green.
Hole 8/26- I birdie, while Jokker played the high risk shot with nothing to lose. His ball found the ocean and along with it another bogey. There is no point in describing the last couple holes except for the fact that I had my best 9 holes in these conditions so please bear with me for 1 more hole.
Hole 9/27- I finish the last hole which runs along the ocean. I make birdie for a 24. Jokker plays out the last hole and the match is in the books.
I believe the official scoring would read Jeffro defeats TheJokker 4 and 2 in extra holes.
It was a classic epic battle with one of the leagues greatest players and assets.
Thanks for the great match my friend. They are always barn burners!
Have a Merry Christmas everyone. See you all in season V.

IB-
I could not find the rules for tie breakers. I believe TheJokker contacted another admin before we proceeded and was told 9 hole matches until their was a winner.
Can you find the ruling that shows the specific rule in case others have a similar challenge?
Thanks Jeffro

This match was surely going to be a wild one, Fast greens and Gale Force winds. A match such as this must be difficult, it’s the PRO FINALS . . . No easy course or conditions will EVER be allowed for the Pro Finals, you didn’t think we would do that did you ? Anyway, everyone knows how troublesome Pebble Beach Golf Course can be at times, she is alive and draws her strength from the Ocean. This course, more than any other course, requires that you become one with the course. You must pull a form of Mana from the earth and really feel her life before this course will truly let you play
You can push your ball along this course and kinda ride the edge for a decent score, or you can feel the course and fly through it like an Eagle looking for a Rabbit. Pebble Beach has an incredible beauty for each and every hole, with the Cliffside Ocean Views, and the sounds of the waves crashing into them. This course more than any other course really makes you feel free, out of bondage so to speak. You can experience how it feels to be an Eagle as you zoom to have a look at the fairway, you can smell the salt in the breeze from the Ocean when she lets you play
When you truly feel her strength, you can just ride the wind through this course and become one with her
If you charge Pebble Beach you are in for some frustrations, she will harness the wind and the Oceans become magnets. Catch and edge and watch it roll, the Ocean will reach out and pull you into the Abyss. When you feel her grip it is as though you are actually there, out of control, just an observer on the outside looking in as you roll into her bossom
Composure and concentration can slip away very quickly at Pebble Beach, she can and will break us if we fight her. After a long roll into the Pacific Ocean you will surely consider your next shot more carefully, while you try to shake off the water. She will grab you again if you don’t relax and feel her strength, this course more than any other course will rob you of every ounce of confidence while she smiles and stirs up the winds. Have you ever felt consistent wind speeds on the shores of the Pacific ?
Pebble Beach is alive, she breaths just like you and me. She has her moods as well, one day she is calm and the next she is restless, looking for some fun with a golfer. Every time I have played Pebble Beach Golf Course, she is a new lady, different than any other visit to her. Every round of golf on Pebble Beach is a unique experience, understanding each and every hole is the key factor when approaching her pins. Throw in some wind, better hold on to your hat, she will let you have it
[/size] Jeffro has done an incredible job with his description of our match, I will fill in a couple gaps I suppose. The first gap is called OB, you want to try to avoid these OB things to have a good match. The Second item is called a fairway, should your ball actually land on one of these it makes the next shot quite a bit easier, something else to keep in mind Jeffro played that last 9 as a true Champion, he drops in an amazing 24 on the front 9 of Pebble Beach, in GALE FORCE WIND ! Very well played my friend, perhaps I can get you next season. I better practice catching Grass-Hoppers for a while I confirm the outcome as described by Jeffro TheJokker Why So Serious ?
