Just joined and im still a bit confused about the 'stock' player in wiiga tournaments. I know it is one of the players in the game but not your own as told to me by PappaG. But surely some 'stock' golfers are better and do players use the super tiger? Thanks for listening....

Stock players are, as PappaG said, the characters who come with the game that you play in match plays in the challenges and an occasional tournament. These include Tiger, SuperTiger, Vijay Singh, Natalie Gulbis, Mike Weir, and many others. There are also invented characters who have lesser skills. I'm not at the Wii and can't remember names, but you will encounter a number of them in the challenges.
A few members of the WiiGA haven't had time to build up the skills of their own profiles in the challenges and tournament mode, but want to play in the WiiGA tourneys. They are allowed to choose a stock player to play with online instead of their own profile. SuperTiger has the most skills, so is the logical choice for most who choose a stock character. Tiger is also commonly selected. I have a preference for Vijay because his swing and range are more like my own. However, I normally play with my own profile.
Hope this helps.

Thanks giacomo for that. I take it you can use your own profile in wiiga tournaments as well even if just starting out. thanks for the reply pl

Perhaps the list below (sorted by Average) will help answer some questions here: The last column just excludes Power and Spin from the average. Not sure how helpful it is, but I thought it was interesting. Please let me know if you find any errors.
