Lets Talk . . . Power . . . Accuracy . . . Recovery . . . Spin

These four Aspects of Tiger Woods 2011 . . . obviously need a closer look . . . we will make a decision before every match as to which one if any of these FOCUS BOOST will go. We need to make certain we are aware exactly what they are and how they work. I will do my best to try to explain the whole situation as I see it

FOCUS is without a doubt . . . the COOLEST new feature with Tiger Woods 2011. Consider FOCUS as a type of NITRO BOOST for each match. At the beginning of each match you can put your FOCUS where you think it will do you the most good for the match. Each course and each change in settings could change your choice for FOCUS
You can FOCUS on Power . . . Accuracy . . . Recovery . . . or Spin
Power is exactly what it says it is . . . Power for your Clubs. The more Power you have . . . The further your clubs can hit the ball
Extra Power is very helpful in building Profile Golfers . . . when you are just beginning the process . . . you can reach some of those greens easier . . . more Birdies & Eagles this way
This is why you want to make certain that your Driver always has MAX focus potential for Power. Some courses have some drivable par 4’s . . . helps to have some extra driving distance
When you use Power for your focus it will give you longer drives as well as the rest of your Clubs for the match

Accuracy is the amount of precision your clubs have when you hit them. When you first begin your Profile Golfer you have a very LARGE targeting circle when you are lining up your shots. As your Accuracy Attributes increase your targeting circle will start to get smaller in diameter.
What this basically means is that your targeting circle shows you where your ball will land if you hit a straight green arrow shot . . . your ball will land somewhere within that circle. This does not take into account the wind or elevation changes though. Your targeting circle is the margin of error for that club on flat ground with no wind
As your Accuracy Attribute increase the targeting circle gets smaller as your margin of error is reduced. This further helps to dial in your shots for more precise control.
This is why you want to make certain that your Driver & Woods always have MAX Focus potential for Accuracy. Those Clubs are the most difficult to control . . . and more costly are the mistakes with a bad shot
When you use Accuracy for your Focus it will reduce the size of your targeting circle and improve your Accuracy during the match

Recovery is how well a Club can shoot from the rough . . . and the variable number the game gives you for your lie when you are in the rough
The lower your Recovery Attribute is . . . the higher your variable is for you lie. When you are just beginning your Profile Golfer you have a very high variable on your lie from the rough . . . it may give you’re a variable lie from 62% - 85%. With that high of a variable it is very difficult to hit the right power because there is a 23% variance in your lie . . . it could be anywhere from 62% up to 85%. At longer distances that could be a 2 or 3 club difference . . . how do you figure that ?
As your Recovery Attribute increases . . . your variable decreases . . . which makes it easier to figure the power for your shot.
When you use Recovery for your Focus it will boost your Recovery abilities and help to read the lie from the rough for the match

Spin is exactly what it says it is . . . Ball Spin. The more Spin attribute you have . . . the faster your ball can spin when you are using manual spin during a shot.
This is why you always want to make certain that you have MAX Spin for your Irons & Wedges . . . So you can stick them greens and force the ball closer to the pin
When you use Spin for your Focus you will be able to stick greens better as well as pull shots back into the fairway better if they are a bit off track for the match

Good luck Dudes . . . HAVE FUN ! ! !
