Well done Jturner , some good shot in there, and putting in the Wet too It is excellent when we get to see how others play on video and how so many guys play the same shot differently. Thanks for video, Hucks

Nice video JT ! Here's a video I just did that is one way to play the Par 5 4th hole. The key is to lay up off the tee with a 7 iron or so. Then rotate your guy to the right and zip it through the trees. The trees aren't real -ken www.ustream.tv/recorded/10762455

Cool video Jim.
#1 is a D4 depending on the pin placement. In round 2 or 3, the flag is right in the front of the green, and you can use the FW in front to roll up to the flag. With the flag in the back right corner, I want to land in the bunker past the green and use a pitch shot onto the green.
***
On #2, I aim just right of the tree, use my 1i (about 275 yds or so) and twists my wrists as much as possible to get a 40 degree open shot around the tree. Without draw/fade handles, I'm left with about 180-200 or so to the pin, but I can get to about 140-160 away with handles.
On your second shot, you can hit it over the trees. BEWARE though. There are two trees, which you can see from the camera angle after hitting your shot: The one to the right is short and can be hit over; the one to the left of it can not be hit over, even with a SW!
Since the shot is downhill too, you can use a 9 iron or PW on your second shot even without draw/fade handles. I birdied this hole twice I think during the tournament--one was in round 2 I think, when I was left with a long uphill putt with very little break, and then one in round 4 when I got a "close approach" (I think the ball just rolled down to the flag).
***
On #3, I go for birdie when he pin is in the front (easy pins), or in the far back (expert). Otherwise, I aim for the bunker and flop it above the hole and slam it in for par. I don't remember if I birdied this in round 4, but the break isn't that much if you land past the hole on the green.
***
For #4, watch Ken's video! You want your tee shot to go about 200 yds. Don't aim too far right or else you'll roll off the FW. Your second shot should be a 3 wood through the trees--aim for space between the hanging vines and you should be fine with about 70 yds to go.
***
I used my 1 iron off the tee all four rounds on #5 with the tailwind. Usually I'll use a lofted 3 wood. I've heard that you can go over the bushes to the left, but I haven't had success doing that, and you're left with a wedge shot anyway if you lay up right.
Also, with the left pin placement on this hole, the green slopes severely to the flag with just a little movement left or right. If you land hole-high in the middle-ish of the green you should have a downhill putt with just a bit of break that I would slam in.
***
If you aim to the left of the FW on #6, you can use your 3wood to go under the trees or slice it around them and hopefully onto the green. I don't think I eagled this hole in any of the four rounds, though.
***
I went for the green on #7 in three of the rounds. One of them (rd 3 I think) had a 10 mph tailwind or so, so I too aimed for the bunker. Even the easy pin placement is on a ridge, so it's tough to birdie here without slamming your putt in.
***
The expert pin placement on #8 is really tough, but it's a birdie hole with any other pin.
***
I usually tried to just par #9 by hitting a 2i or 1i to the left of the bunkers/trees. I've found, however, that a driver CAN go over the trees on the right. I don't remember exactly where to aim (I'll need to wait to see the video), but if you get lucky you land far enough right where you can use a normal shot to the green. Even if you don't get so lucky, you usually still have an open line to the green, you just need to use a punch shot. I actually birdied this hole once in the tournament.
I'll write up the back 9 when Jim posts the next video.

I can confirm this shortcut Nick is talking about but i donĀ“t have a videocam or other hardware to make a movie. I eagled the hole4 from the blue tee once and birdied it frequently even from the black tees. There are some more nice shortcuts on this course (for example you can always hit above the waterfall to the left on that par5 on the B9, just hit a medium iron from the tee and then turn left and hit a wood to reach the green). Best way to show you is in a matchplay unranked while in chat maybe. LT

Awesome! I played this hole 9 times from the black tees with no focus. At first I aimed right for the middle of the two trees (just right of that banana leaf): 1st time - 10 mph wind NW aiming at trees - ball went to far left, ended up hitting branch on approach shot 2nd time - 6 mph wind R to L at tee (slight tailwind aiming at trees) - too far left again, landed on uphill and sidehill lie in rough; approach shot missed trees but was short 3rd time - 11 mph SE wind aiming at trees - drive ended up with 70% lie in rough 140 yds away; no trees in sight, but ball ended up short (bad judgment on my part). 4th - 3 mph headwind aiming at trees - aimed two taps RIGHT of the right tree and landed 155 away with 95% lie in rough, and EAGLED it. 5th - 7 mph R to L with slight headwind aiming at trees - again aimed right of trees; landed with 70% lie in rough 150 away...5 iron rolled onto green and I eagled it 6th - 4 mph tailwind - aimed a bit further right of trees than before...OB. Next tee shot aimed in between trees...landed on sidehill lie but with 97% lie and "eagled" it. 7th - 12 mph tailwind - aimed AT the right tree, landed with 95% lie 155 yds away...eagle 8th - 6 mph headwind - mis-hit first shot right, and went OB (was aimed at right tree)...next time aimed in between trees, landed with 83% lie in rough but still eagled it. 9th - 7 mph R to L - aimed just right of tree b/c of wind...landed 162 away with 95% lie...eagle ... Seems like if you aim in between those two trees, you're SAFE, with either a sidehill lie or an 85% lie or so, and maybe a tree to avoid on the left. If you aim AT the right tree, you'll get a lie % around 93-97% (sometimes 70% though!) with a flat lie and no trees in sight, and a good chance for eagle. If you aim ANY further right, you're risking an OB.

Hello anyone playing the daily Pro at Predator today. Good Luck!. The greens are soft, good for sticking those approach shots. Hole #3 - the first par 3 is a bear. Hole is on a super steep slope. If you hit the ball past the hole, and it stays up top, and you miss the putt going down hill, you will probably end up OB. I exceeded the shot limit on this hole which accounts for most of my +9 score. JT

Hey, JT, how about making a FULL video, or break it however you want showing us the shortcuts, and the in's and outs of Predator, maybe it will make me want to play it more. Please, and thank you!

Batman OUT! Batman - Your request has been received and approved. Unfortunately there will be a short delay in the delivery due to weather, traffic, full body scans, pat downs, inconsistent swings, technical difficulties, and any other excuse that I have missed! I am currently processing a video of the first 10 holes of Predator that I played this afternoon for the express purpose of making a new video. Unfortunately - the game play does not always go as planned..... It does include some of the new shots and tips provided by the WiiGA members - but my game play does not yet take full advantage of these shots. For example, I birdied #3 in practice for the video and then bogied #3 in taping the video! So - long story short - I will post the lastest video tomorrow with some of the new helps. However, I will create a video of all 18 holes using the offline mode (and mulligans) so that I can put something together that actually has a decent score to match the shortcuts, in & outs etc.Now Batman I have a request for you! When I create/post such a video - I want you to try your best take at least 3 seconds for each shot! Deal? JT

Zach your round was awesome!! I was thrilled with -6 which included a Triple Bogey on one of the easier par 4's. I'll take second though Holy
