What happens if players can't agree? Note 3: Playoffs this season will have LIVE WEATHER forecast. This will test the players ability when facing their opponent one on one. Should the LIVE settings be gale winds, the pairing has the option to continue or reset with HARD conditions and sunny weather. What winds are considered gale force? Sorry if I overlooked these changes.

FireConfused NOTE:Pro style is:- Swing style : advanced - Gameplay difficulty: hard - Focus: NOT allowed Tour PRO style:- Swing style: tour pro - Gameplay difficulty: expert - Focus: NOT allowed - putting: Precision - Clock: 40 seconds Good points Fire... I think the default should be standard stroke scoring if a there is a conflict. Match play mode is preferred, but since it takes much longer to play alternating shots... If there is a disagreement, stroke play should be chosen. As for the winds... I think Fire found a glitch in the reasoning... Live Weather should be used regardless. First, the likelihood of 40 MPH winds in real life is very low, and what MPH would you use to determine the threshold had been broken? What if the wind was reasonable for the first couple holes then jumped up on the 3rd? In the end, the choice to try Live Weather should stand regardless of wind speed. It is equal for both players... Peace, Skinnie

Hi Skinny
Just to clarrify the rule is it?
If one person prefers to play strokeplay and work out the matchplay score manually then the Play off game has to be strokeplay.
It can only be matchplay if both players agree

I think you guys missed the point of Fire's comment.
ALL MATCHES ARE IN FACT MATCH PLAY SCORING!!!!
However, if either player wants to set the match up as stroke play and manually track the match play scoring, they can do it that way, since the game plays faster that way. But this does not change the scoring to stroke play scoring. It is still Match scoring, just tracked manually since game is set up as stroke play.

Jim CORRECTI think you guys missed the point of Fire's comment. ALL MATCHES ARE IN FACT MATCH PLAY SCORING!!!! Also correct. For as long as I am aware, at least since season #3 of TW10, playoffs have always been scored with matchplay, (Example: 2 up). Players SET the match using stroke play, but manually keep scores per hole. In tw11, we have the option to SET the game in the lobby using matchplay. It takes a little longer, but the game keeps track for you. Players should always keep track as well, just in case of a D/C. So in the playoffs, you can SET the game using either stroke or matchplay (if both players agree to it). The results will be scored in matchplay format though. Example: Zach defeated kenw in PRO : 6 & 5 - ken P.S. I have modified the course settings for rd1, to say either stroke or match play and will do the same for the remaining rounds.

Thanks ken thats cleared that up
Sorry Pyth both Skinnie and I were totally aware of Fires point and know that its matchplay scoring as it always has been.
Merely wanting a definitive ruling on what happens if 1 player wanted to play it as stroke play with matchplay scoring and the other wanted to play as matchplay ie a disagreement.
Ken has made that ruling
