The EPIC battle between Batman & TheJokker took a turn to the golf course today.
Bay Hill is the setting for this confrontation between Good & Evil . .
The Batman exits the Bat Cave within a cloud of dust and burnt rubber, exiting the smoke as a black streak except for the flames and just a glimmer of Chrome
Batman speeds through the streets of Gotham City flying onto the interstate with a slight bounce and screaching rubber
Meanwhile TheJokker manipulates the Wiimote controlling his various gadgets designed to put the Batman in a bad way
Batman hits a few buttons as the Batmobile swerves, jumps and flies over & around these little toys left by TheJokker. The only thing visible through his tinted windows is the glare of his teeth as he grins at the feeble attempts by TheJokker to put him out of the game
TheJokker SNARLS as he steps up to the first tee, disappointed by the cunning awareness of that dam Bat
dadgotgame just happened to be waiting to get paired up with someone so he could slam down a quick 18, unaware of the global implications of this EPIC match about to unfold.
Jokker just smiles at dad while dropping down a couple shots of Tequila, sure . . why not . . grab your clubs dad !
Batman and dad make the green in regulation and much to they're surprise . . Jokker drops in an Eagle to stir things up a bit
So Jokker slams down a couple more shots . . then a couple more . . then he slams one onto the green. Batman & dad drop in they're birds as they watch Jokker wobble a bit as he misses his putt !
Jokker gets a bit ticked off from the par and slams his ball off the Tee . . straight into the freakin lake !
Batman & dad just smile as they watch Jokker drop his ball in the lake two more times !
Batman . . 1Up
going stroke for stroke till the 9th hole and Jokker chokes again and settles for par
Batman . . 2UP
Frustrated Jokker then chokes again on the 10th as Batman & dad drop in they're birds
Batman . . 3Up
Stroke for stroke down the rest of the back 9 until Dormie on the 16th hole
After 2 bottles of Tequila Jokker seems to be a bit out of sorts as Batman takes yet another hole . . and the match !
Batman Wins . . 3 & 2
Jokker stumbles over to the Bat . . looks him in the eye . . stares him up & down . . and simply walks away . .
Well of course Batman heads to the Club House to have some drinks with dad . . and a few more . . and a few more
The World rest at peace for yet another day . . until TheJokker comes out to play again !
Great match man, you also dad, frustrating but fun . . who chose that freakin course anyways ?
Good Luck with DavidDuval Batman, well deserved win ! TheJokker

OMG, OMG, OMG, Wasn't that the BEST non-fictional account of a Batman / Jokker encounter EVAH? I mean, better than, No Man's Land, KnightFall, or The Dark Knight Returns graphic novels!!!
Mr. TheJokker, just had a couple of bad breaks, he said in chat during the match. And could not figure out what went wrong, Otherwise, I would be toast! I've played with one of my many mentors here many times, and I always end up on the short end of the stick. TheJokker just simply does not make mistakes, period. And, I FOR SOME STRANGE ODD REASON, did not make a mistake last night. THAT NEVER HAPPENS to me. I ALWAYS make at least one if not more in an 18 holer. So the old saying of, anyone can take anyone on any GIVEN day/night, I suppose could be true. It certainly took my BEST game/effort to pull it off vs. theJokker's "a few mistakes" round.
To all who read: See, this is uncharted waters I'm swimming in here. Whenever I'm matched up against one of the HOF'ers here, I try my best, but it seems I come up short each time. Now, granted, MY BEST IS NO WHERE CLOSE TO theJokker's best mind you, but in this particular course, on this particular day, during this particular match something gave, and the irresistable force met the immoveable object, and the thunder roared, the lightning struck, the winds raged, and the heaven's moved toward earth, and for one moment in time, the unthinkable happened... Batman defeated the force of nature that is TheJokker.
OK, well I made a good try at trying to write a novel, Yeah I know I failed miserably.
To all new members: If you get a chance to play in a match with or against TheJokker, JUMP ON IT HARD AND FAST, what you will see will be a true MASTER at the game of TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR Wii Golf, a true gentleman, and a superior admin here at WiiGA. He is my friend, mentor, and fellow administrator, and I truly am humbled to be not only on the same course as him, but now to be a little closer to his legacy. Yes, I'm a LEGEND too...
In my own mind! ;D
Mr. TheJokker, again, I thank you for the match last night sir, and good game, and teh absolute bestest of luck in your next round, sir.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, ONE of if not the BEST golfer here at WiiGA, drum roll......
TheJokker!!!

Mark beats Ducks 4&2.
Very little difference in our shot making - we both had moments when it looked as if we'll hole out. I putted better than Ducks today and this was the only reason as to why I won - on another day it might have been different.
Thanks Ducks!!

TO THE ADM)NS !!! Season 3 playoffs - AM Flight 2 I have a question which might be moronic. After receiving a Bye i am now oitted against Firestricker at CogHill. Thats Game 7. If I would lose that game I would be playing for 3rd place against ? Now here it comes - If i WON Game 7 if would be playing in Game 9 and if i lost that one I would be out of the tourney without a ranked place. That must be a typo of some sort, becaue in Flight 1 AM its not that way. Pls look into that matter and advise. Thx, Claus

If you lose game 7 against Fire you go into the consolation bracket for 5th place. If you win against Fire and lose your next match you then go to the 3rd place match against the other semifinal loser. (The 3rd place match should be against the losers of games 8 and 9, not 7 and 8 as it said before.)

RichKelley defeats BlairWeezy 4 and 3
Rich took an early lead with a pitch-in on #3. I sealed my fate with a 4deg open putt on #4 to fall 2 down. I managed a hole out on #5 to pull within 1 again, but Rich played flawless including a 2nd hole-out on #14 to take a 4up lead. For fun we played the last few holes and Rich finished with a very impressive 47....good luck the rest of the way!!!

Congratulations WK, you played an excellent match. I was able to stay in the running for most of the front nine. The back nine was a different story. I just couldn't hit any of my approach shots close it seemed. Not that it would have mattered. Birdies would have done no better that halving holes at that point. Good luck in the remainder of the tourney WK.

CONFIRMED Stu had a great round to come back from 2 down. He played solid golf in those conditions, while I had some errand shots, including OBs in two holes Great match Stu, and good luck the rest of the way. Here's a hole by hole how I saw it. #1 With a 23 mph wind, we head out and boom t-shots of about 380 yds. Stu misses the green in his 2nd shot, though, while I set up a birdie putt. Mot 1UP. #2 The 26mph winds keep us from reaching the green, but we're both in the FW, though Stu barely. His 2nd shot leaves him a mid-range putt with a tough break, while I'm closer. He misses and I birdie. I go 2UP and I think Stu's off his game because he's better than this. #3 The 21 mph headwind leaves our tee shots and 2nd shots short, so we both miss long birdie putts. Pars all around, Mot 2UP. #4 Stu finds his game. The wind helps us hit tee shots of almost 390 yds. I don't adjust enough on my 2nd shot and miss the green long, while Stu barely hangs on. He putts for a cool eagle to narrow the gap. Mot 1UP #5 A possible D4 under the right conditions, which are not these Stu hits what seems to be a 3W to land on FW. I go for the green but end up in the rough to the left. Our 2nd shots leaves us both with rather long putts, which we make for birdie. Mot 1UP. #6 A tough par 3 with these winds because of the bunker to the front-right. After the tee shots, Stu is on the edge of the green and I have a long putt. He sets up a par putt and so do I, but i miss it And we're AS. #7 Not much news here. Good tee shots and close approaches both, for easy birdie putts. AS #8 The one with the dreaded Sahara bunker with killer tailwind today. Stu is long on the rough or bunker behind the green. Trying to avoid the front bunker, I overshoot and get an OB Sensing blood in the water, Stu pitches it in for birdie. Stu 1UP. #9 I have to regroup, and I have to do it with a 23 mph headwind from left to right. Tee shots go about 280 yds, and approaches leave long putts. Stu misses his. I have a 21 footer, which goes in. AS #10 The wind doesn't let up (24 mph here) and as a result we again set up long birdie putts. I go first from 33 feet and club up to get it there, but it's a bit too strong and the ball jumps over the hole. Stu nails his putt to to again 1UP. #11 The wind takes the 2nd shots off the green. Stu is in the ditch with a tough lie, so his 2nd shot leaves him a long putt. I have a mid-range putt that goes in. Stu makes his long birdie putt, though, to keep it Stu 1UP. #12 A pivotal hole. I land on the ditch left of the FW, with an awful lie and facing a tough 2nd shot. Stu is in the FW. Trying to adjusting for the lie and the wind, I hit it OB left Stu goes 2UP and I can sense the match slipping away. #13 Time to fish or cut bait. But this is no easy par 3. Stu lands on the green, while I miss it. He makes the birdie putt to take a decisive 3UP lead. #14 A D4 and we have a hell of a tailwind, so getting it there is not the problem. Staying on the green is the challenge and neither of us can do it. We birdie to stay Stu 3UP. #15 My tee shot lands on the bunker to the left of the hole. Stu's 2nd leaves an easy birdie attempt, while my pitch off the bunker is way off the hole. Do or die putt here and I get it in to stay alive... barely. Stu 3UP. #16 DORMIE. With a 24mph tailwind, I club down and loft it. A thumper follows, but Stu also had a great shot leaving a short putt. Birdies all around and match over. Nice win Stu. Mot

Playoff game 2 - Oakmond Firestricker vs Claus
Fire won decisively 5 - ?. Great game Fire, as expected. If the rest of the playoff games are windy and rain i will hereby forfeit. So whoever has to play me for rank whatever can rake in the win. When I saw the conditions before we teed off i wanted to cut off and give you the win, but i thought what the heck. I usually never play those conditions and wont, not even for "fun". I am a fair weather player, also in real life. Nevertheless Fire, you played VERY well and deserve the win. Good luck for the remainder of the tourney.
Greetings,

FireStricker defeats Jturner125 4 & 3 Flt2 AM Play-In. Well done FireStricker. Good game and fun all around. See you next season! Jim I confirm: A little writeup that I forgot to post last weekend. Tough to get old sorry. One of the playoff games for season three will start with a couple of senior citizens. Not really but just let me say this "A buck ten plus" You do the math. Tier three winner of season two FireStricker seeded 7th will face off against JTurner125 seeded 10th in the season three play in game. Haven't really played JTurner in many games but watches all his video's FireStricker goes into this contest with great anticipation. His game uses a lot of spin and these soft greens play havoc with his spin if not careful but on the plus side his woods and long iron game pleases. The soft greens can be a downer with his average putting abilities. Just ask Zach and Cosmic they'll tell you from first hand from recent playoff wins against me. With no streaming going on JTurner and FireStricker stroll out to hole 1. Par 4 441 yards JT having honors he goes for the gusto and tries to clear the trees on the left but just clips the top which cuts his distance down significantly but fortunately he has a good view to the pin. Fire seeing that and have previously only made one drive over those trees pulls out his 3W and plays it safe for 299 yards. JT's 2nd shot trickles off the green while Fire gets a thumper and refrains from spin leaving a 6 foot putt. Fire expecting to see a chip from JT is happy when his putt just comes up short. Fire 1UP Hole 2 Par 3 218 yards With 5 iron in hand, shot clock counting down and a 6mph tailwind Fire is deep and spins the kazoo out of the ball and ends up what looks like the rough above the green. JT goes for the pin and just catches the sand trap in front. JT makes a super pitch to within inches of the pin but that is where the ball will stay when Fire, delighted he could putt, sinks a 25 foot down hill screaming breaker. LUCKY as the shot clock is blazing in his ears. Fire 2UP Hole 3 Par 4 395 yards Both drive dead center and another thumper for Fire as the shot clock is beginning to pi$$ him off. Both birdie. Fire 2UP Hole 4 Par 4 530 yards Good drives by both and Fire's palms surprisingly are sweating and it's only the 4th hole. In between clubs and with a 10 foot elevation Fire goes with the longer club and again as the shot clock is beeping another thumper within 6 feet. JT matches that and they both hole birds. Fire 2Up Hole 5 Par 4 365 yards Good drives by both and Fire finally gets no beeping but is awarded with another thumper this time with a pitch within 4 feet. JT follows him in for birds. Fire 2UP Hole 6 Par 5 543 yards Knew it was too good to be true as Fire's drive goes way left leaving him with a 5 iron which failed him as he misses the green big time. JT let's one slip away as he misses his long eagle putt. Fire 2UP Screaming is heard something about no talking and pay attention coupled with some #$%^&* words. Hole 7 Par 3 197 yards After some deep breaths both cards have birdies written on them. Fire 2UP Hole 8 Par 424 yards Great drives by both dead center in the fairway. Fire finally gets a 350 yard drive then follows that with a spin up 4 footer. JT continues to be solid after a slow start and he birdies to keep this game within striking distance. Fire 2UP Hole 9 Par 4 467 yards I see Jim lining up over the trees which he buries safely dead center fairway but continuing to play safe Fire pulls out his 3W and plants it 307 yards away. Between clubs again but this time with the tailwind Fire selects the 9I over the 7I and is rewarded with another thumper with a tad of left spin. Not quite inches away. JT continues to birdie the crap out of the card. Fire 2UP Hole 10 Par 4 400 yards Continuing to fear nothing JT goes for the gusto but this time the area to the right of the trees are OB and he pays dearly first thought but Fire continue to live large as gets a gift when he puts his 2nd shot no wheres near the green. A blown pitch to the biggest part of the green 26 feet away followed with a totally blown putt preview he decides to lag it up there and try to tie hole. Fire 2UP Hole 11 Par 4 428 yards Only his second 350 or better drive of the day Fire hits center fairway. JT does same but what looks like a thumper of his own JT just misses a hole out. Both birdie to stay at Fire 2UP. Hole 12 Par 5 570 yards Good drives but no so good approaches for the pair as both are looking at around 19 footers for eagle. JT was inside of Fire so JT got to go to school on him. School must have been out as both missed the putts. Fire 2UP Hole 13 Par 4 364 yards Huge hole for Fire when JT finally faltered missing his birdie putt while the old man made his. Fire 3UP Hole 14 Par 3 206 yards With breathing room and a tad of spin gives Fire and easy 2 foot putt. Fire 4UP Hole 15 Par 425 yeards Routine hole as each player birdie FireStricker wins 4 and 3 JT, For not the first 2 hole jitters this game could have gone the other way very easily. I know how intimidating it is to play in the playoffs but take it from me it gets easier. My first game was against Jeffro. No I won't bore you guys with the "pants" tale again. I had a blast playing with a class guy like you and now that your retired maybe I'll see you more. FireStricker

As for the conditions I was as surprised as you were when it was windy and raining today. Yesterday it was dry but still as windy there. The settings effected play today so by no means does one game make. Today was my day, tomorrow will be yours. In the Bags/WiiGa match I took a beating from Zach and someday I might be able to return the "favor." Just remember it's all fun no matter who wins. Fire I confirm the game as 5 and 3 FireStricker winning. I'll have a game write-up tomorrow so stay tuned.
