2013 G-CUP ScoresSomebody has to kick this annual event off, may as well be the WiiGA captain. Let it be known that I am '' GOteamWiiGA''. We will leave the members of BAGS to speculate who ''teamWiiGA'' is. Please note, both rds are OFFICIAL scores Once the opponent of ''teamWiiGA'' posts their score, then ''teamWiiGA'' will be revealed. I lipped the hole on the P5, #2 and settled for birdie. A par on the P3 #3, and I'm in trouble vs Mark! Hole #9 provides me a 'new longest putt attempt' with 74 feet, I nail it!! I par'd the P3 # 13. hole #15, the tough one, I settled for par and went onward. Hole 15 rattled me so much, I even par'd #16. An eagle on 18 and just like that, my 2013 G-cup was done -ken

Took another one of my teamouts for this G-CUP event. Again, I am "GOteamWiiGA", "teamWiiGA" player will remain annonymous until his opponent posts a score, then they will reveal themselves P.S. I can tell this is driving jim nuts!! so far, there are 3 WiiGA guys in the club house with scores, you only know my score. If Jim is willing to pay say....... $27,600 for a name, I will tell him. Sadly, Jim only has $27,518 as of this post. To late. P.P.S. yes, the name ''teamWiiGA'' is being used, then passed off to the next guy. if I knew how to use photoshop, I would have as I shot another 54. -ken

Hi WiiGA - Whats Occuring
MMMMMMMmmmm Very difficult
Do I play early and post my score thus adding to the pressure Frenchy49 must allready be feeling
Or do I take a casual approach and wait till I have a score to shoot at. Difficult decision.
All the Bags Boys are off to Barry Island where Nessa is providing refreshments before we have a joint practice session up the road at Newport.

Hi WiiGA - Whats Occuring What's occurring is WiiGA is posting scores, but BAGS isn't. Sure the names aren't revealed, but the scores are. Once ''teamWiiGA'' opponent posts their score, then ''teamWiiGA'' will reveal themselves one by one. Look, I found another ''teamWiiGA'' player. This is the third ''teamWiiGA'' score. Factor in my rd, and WiiGA has 4 official rds in too BAGS zero rds in. I see the score as 4 wins for WiiGA, 0 for BAGS. Is BAGS scared or counteracting WiiGA's mind games, Hmmmmmmmm. Highlight was a 97 footer, yes Ninety-Seven foot putt on #9 by ken. I par'd # 10 and #12, while ''teamWiiGA'' held strong. We both Par'd #14. We both par'd #17. ''teamWiiGA'' played very well this rd. As captain, I am happy with WiiGA scores thus far! Can someone instruct me how to PHOTSHOP scores. It will save me a ton of time as I have played 3 rds and had a 54 everytime!!! -ken P.S. WiiGA has 4 rds in. : 52-54-56-57......

Actually Ken the Bagster Boys have worked so hard this week practicing in Wales Ive given them all a long weekend to see their families and have a well earned rest. They will be returning to the team hotel on Tuesday. Of course another couple of days will be spent practicing so don't look for any Bags scores till about Thursday Next week. Of course if I don't feel they are quite ready it may be the last weekend of the event before anyone plays an official round ;D

It's a shame Ken and I weren't able to play this match head to head, but with all the varying consoles, it is what it is. I emailed Ken two days ago and said it wouldn't be a fair fight. Sadly, the shot trajectories on the Wii version of TW12 make Celtic Manor a tough course to navigate, especially the par 3s. My round was very good for the most part. I had several close calls (hole outs) with my apps. I missed a putt on #13 and my tee shot on #15 pitched on the middle tier of the green and with a little spin over shot the putting surface into the bunker. By the end of the #15 I was -17 and finished off the match birdie, birdie, eagle. Thanks Jim and Dom Thanks Ken

Friday night in Bags Chat and Fire Dom and Jimbob decided to play the Giacomo Cup Game.
Mark Joined us for Fun and off we went.
Domino started with 2 fine Eagles, played perfectly for the next 16 holes and ended with a 48. Nice round Dom surely another point for Bags when the results come in.
Fire played a solid round with only a couple of lip outs keeping his score up. Nice 52 Fire. Should be good enough for at least a half.
Jimbob A par start and another couple of pars at 6 and 7 left me -5 after 8 holes and looking at my usual score of around 60. Then pure luck ( sorry frenchy) took hold and I pitched in on the par 5 ninth for a double Eagle and the game suddenly changed. With a bit more confidence I birdied everything up to 15 (par4) and then the luck came again. The pin was at the back of the green and my teeshot ended a foot from the hole for a suprise Eagle. Another Eagle at 18 and I ended with my best ever score in TW13 a 52

The first ''mystery'' 'teamWiiGA'' has revealed themselves. Yes, MM had the 52 as predicted by Mark. I thought for sure it would win a point, but firestricker came though with a 52 of his own, hence a split! Look, I found yet another ''teamWiiGA'' lurking, and thus we set sail to play the G-Cup. Hole #8, ''teamWiiGA'' dang near pitched in, just a few inches away! We made the turn with 29/28 , favor of ''teamWiiGA'' ken smacked the pin on the P3 #13 for a near ACE, but settled for a bird. teamWiiGA had a mis-step on #17 for bogie and #18 for par. P.S. this is ken's 4th rd played. scores are 54-54-54-55 WiiGA is playing the best that we can, but will it be good enough -ken

On a Lazy Sunday night in the UK Lord Snooty was ready to play his part for England, St George and BAGS A great front 9 saw a confident Lord Snooty reach the turn in 25 after his Move allowance. The back 9 proved more difficult however including a much needed bath at 14. Jimbob fun Lord Snooty Official PS3 Move 61 -7 = 54 Well Done LS Confirmed LSPS3 Move 61 -7 = 54 Dissapointed with my back 9 performance which fell apart somewhat after a good front 9 for me. Golf can be a frustrating game sometimes. Thanks Jim for keeping me company.

MM grabbed me by the ear and said I needed to crush this CUP round like no other I have before. Well, I made the turn in moderate shape to give a "58" a run if I stunned myself with a back 9. After a couple weak putts that fell short, I threw "course management" out the window and went beyond my game with a couple bogeys on 15 & 16 ... then went for the green in 2 on 18 (I needed a 3 1/4 wood)! So with 3 over on the back 9 ... I bought MM a round and signed my scorecard of
68 But I am proud to have been a part of history (the final G Cup). I appreciate your help MM! Thanks for the last year or two as well! You are a class act! ~Seve
