GIACOMO CUP FINAL RESULT Congratulations and a big Thankyou to every one who volunteered and played in the Annual Giacomo Cup. Great to see a new batch of names that are becoming familiar by the minute. Great to see Seve attempt it in TPX and LordSnooty/Bimblekay on the MOVE. Thats what its all about taking part and enjoying the game. The Score Nah pretty irrelevant Yes Bags won this one but remember we suffered 2 heavy defeats in the past 2 years. Finally a big shout to KenW. Ken never makes a fuss but works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure events like this get organised and completed. ............... CONGRATULATIONS BAGS............... It took 3 ''years'' and 3 TW versions of golf, but BAGS finally has a win in the G-Cup The final score is WiiGA 1.5 vs BAGS 6.5. WiiGA's only win was riggy beating bimblekay.( MVP for Riggy ) WiiGA's tie was MauriceMoss vs firestricker. Sure this year we ventured into some new territory, allowing BAGS members to play on the PS3/XBOX, while WiiGA played on the Wii. We wouldn't know unless we tried it. It appears to have been a slight disadvantage for us ''wii'ers'' but it is safe to say that all players had fun and that is the most important part of the G-Cup, FUN !!!!! That said, since WiiGA held the trophy for 3 straight years, it is now BAGS responsibility to take care of it. That includes, polishing it on a daily basis, giving it a bath once a week, and bowing before it each time you walk past it on you way out to play a round. WiiGA has already made arrangements to send their white gloves and unused polish to give BAGS a head start. Again, congrats to BAGS and thank you to all who participated in this yearly event! -ken P.S. Davski was a ''teamWiiGA'' man and shot the 58.
