Hey mrruck, welcome!!! Get a mac??? ;D Okay- forget the smarta-- answer... could it be a popup blocker or phishing filter of some kind that's misreading the launcher? Try turning those off and see if it helps.
Hope to play you soon!

Hey mrruck,
Have you checked your java settings? They need to be enabled to run the chat. Vista really sucks. Not sure if that doesn't work. I am sure the other members will have a solution.

Oh no! Can we PLEASE not start a Mac vs PC discussion on here. I don't think I can take any more. I use OSX on an iMac at work, but use Vista at home. I like both and don't really see one as being any better than the other. I like different things about both.

You may have to enable java on your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer you will find it in "Tools" - Internet Options - Advanced tab. If you scroll down there you will find the java settings. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you may have to download some updates for the java. You should find them at www.java.com.

It sounds like the actual chat software has not installed on your computer. Not sure what the solution is, but I am sure one of the admins or one of the other members here can get you up and running in the chat room. Look forward to seeing you there soon.

No problem mscott. I am sure it is a simple solution that someone from the site will have fixed in a jiffy for you. Just keep an eye on the forum and we'll be chatting in no time I'm sure.
I think you will have a great time with all the members here. We all love the game and no one will ever quit on you in a game. Be sure to check out the League Laboratory 101 where members create some awesome tournaments that run along with our regular season play.
Some of the top players are members and admins here and are always happy to help out and share their knowledge of the game.
See you soon.

Hey mscott. You need the latest version of Java to run the chatroom. Make sure you are up to date. Click here if you are running Vista. If that doesn't help, report back.

In case anyone is still having trouble getting into the chat room I figured I would post this link to the proboards 'TroubleShooter'. This TroubleShooter is for all proboard site problems and the chat room problems are the top 3 items on the list. support.addoninteractive.com/index.php?action=trouble_shooter

Hi blitzkrieg, Welcome to the Wiiga. Make sure you have the latest update for your java as well as allowing popups from this site. Hope you get it worked out and see you in the chat room.

if you're not seeing the login box next to the addon java link (it should have a space for you to enter a username of your choice and a login button) then definitely check out that link that Jokker posted.
Just checked it out, it starts on a troubleshooter screen asking you relevant questions on what you see. Judging by your post you'd probably first choose "i cant load the chat room" then "I see a small broken link icon, an empty space, or a link to AddonChat.". Then gives you a link to go further in the troubleshooter and asks you further stuff like what browser you're using etc. Might end up linking you to a page that tests your version of java and will let u know if you need to update, or might be your browser, etc.
