Is there any way to get an e mail on a post that someone responds to that you posted.
On my other boards if you post you will get an e mail when someone responds to your post.
I'm sure this one has it but I can't seem to find the setting....

Yes, though it's far from obvious! At the top of the thread you want notifications for there are two links- Search and Bookmark. Click on Bookmark. That will save the thread to your profile's Boomark function. Click on your profile. There will be a link for Bookmarks. Click on that. It will take you to your list of bookmarks. On the right banner is a link called Manage Bookmarks. Click on that. When it opens, you'll see a field for notifications. That will allow you to set a notification either by PM or by email to your stored email address.
Whew!

Sort of like what G said...
You bookmark the thread you want to be notified about (note: this will not work with boards or sub-boards, only threads...), then you go to your Profile (3rd golf ball from right under screen header), there you click Bookmarks (to the right of member's bio and modify profile), then click on Manage Bookmarks (upper right corner of area where bookmarked threads are shown), and finally you set the preferences for each bookmarked thread (i.e. no notification, PM notify or email notify) and the general preference that controls how new bookmarks show up (i.e. whether or not new bookmarks automatically defer to email notifications, etc.).
Hope this helps...
Later, The SkinniePost
