jimbob59, looks like you need to know a little html programming to insert a table in a post. Might try creating table outside of the forum and then paste it into a post. Just a thought. Stick64

Thanks for the quick reply (5 minutes from creating the thread) HTML would be beyond me Have tried cutting and pasting from a spreadsheet, comes into the small word processor OK, nicely lined up but without the borders. I could live with that but when i go into preview its all out of line again. ?

Hey Jim, The link I put up earlier does exactly what IronMaiden so nicely explained, for you automatically... Then you just copy and paste the resulting code into you message... It should make it really easy, but if you would like to do it manually for the experience... Follow Mrs. Maiden's instructions and use the preview message button to ensure it works correctly Look forward to seeing what you have in store for us Skinnie "The Sinister Minister" Post

Thanks ironmaiden I can now make a table manually and understand whats happening. Thanks Skinnipost I understand how to do it thanks to ironmaiden but the ability to design your table, let the programm generate the code and cut and paste into the small wordprocessor is great Once more thanks everone | | |
