I saw a thread yesterday on the EA website regarding great rounds and it showed a video on Youtube of a top player scoring a great round, but it was obvious they weren't using M+ !!!
I have always used M+ on TW10 but was curious if it would be easier without.
Started a round without and obviously it was a lot easier to hit a straight drive, but I noticed when I was on the edge of a green when chipping that it didn't show the chip preview ?
Also it just didn't feel right without it, so went straight back to using it.
Just wondered if other people use it or not and how they feel about people not using it?

I use it because I love to inflict pain on myself.
Seriously, I LOVE the Motion+ ... can't figure out how to swing with one arm like 09, but using a "real" golf swing with pivot, shoulder turn, etc. is a lot of fun. And I'm playing just about as good with a two-handed swing with the Motion+ as one arm swing with 09.

I have only played without the Motion+ once since getting TW10 to help another member get their final tourney in at the end of last season. I was still working on getting my swing down pat on 10, but very much preferred using the Motion+.
I have been able to develop a one-handed swing with the Motion+. Regardless of the chip tracer, I also find it much easier to swing with the Motion+ than without. I still get the odd shank here and there, but had the same with TW09. Even swinging one-handed, I find it to be a much more realistic swing.
I know some players don't use it, but TW10 was designed to be played with the Motion+ and though it takes more practice to get your swing down than in TW09, I think you are missing out on a key part of the game if you don't use it.

I use the M+. I haven't even tried to play without it. Not sure what the difference would be, but I like that I can use the Draw/Fade with the wii remote.

I've only used the wiimotion+. But the consequence is a very painful shoulder that is now preventing me from playing effectively. Or should I say, is now effectively preventing me from playing? I tried to play two nights ago, and was prevented from completing the round by connectivity issues, which have been a problem for me for about a week. I'm not sure, though, that I could have finished a complete round, as my shoulder was getting sorer with each swing. But worse, when I tried to play a round last night, I couldn't hit drives more than 75% without serious pain, and the shoulder continues to ache this AM. So I think I'm going to try to play without the wiimotion+ and see if that will work. If it doesn't, I could be sidelined for a while. Going to the doctor next week, so we'll see what comes of that.

Wow, that sucks. I do tend to over swing when I really don't have to. I don't know that I could do the 1 hand swing.
