Due to the new swing styles, focus, and tougher settings, we would like to run a trial tournament before an official season 8. This should help us work out the kinks that we may stumble upon and give you the opportunity to make suggestions for how the new season should be run. Rules 1 round with 1 or more WiiGA members using the official password. There will be 3 courses with 3 different swing styles so that you can try out 3 swing types. Players can practice as much as they like. Once the official password is used, the scores will count. The leaderboard results will be listed by course and style, so you can enter one, two or all three of the tourneys. AM course is @ TPC Sawgrass PRO course is @ Saint Andrews Tour Pro is @ Doral Post the official results for each player. Play can begin immediately and will run until Monday night midnight PDT (going through the holiday weekend). Please post your comments here, on the experience and recommendations for playing the regular season based on this trial run. It is the comments that will help guide us for season 8. And most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!!! -The Tournament Committee

We hope everyone has fun with the new settings! I personally pledge to play Tour Pro and shoot at least as well as my first round of golf when I was 8 years old. Gotta practice shouting "FORE!" ( G, watching his 22% inside out, 70% drive diving into the water!) G.

I would like to add a note that games played with TPX might be more fun with a longer shot clock. There are some instances where one needs to scroll around sometimes to locate different yardage markers around the green in order to better set up a shot.
I don't know if I'll get a round in for the practice tourney (only a few hours left) but I do often feel a bit rushed when playing TPX online with only 30 seconds. It's not like wiiga members will stall a match or anything.
